Grand Blue Kamala

We started our trip in the best possible way, just the two of us in a huge villa with an ocean view and private pool. The place was spacious and clean, and we could watch cruise ships on the horizon when we woke up. Room service was quick with cocktails and food for the day bed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. My only complaint is that we didn’t have time to stay longer!

For a mountain setting with lovely nature views and complete privacy, this place offers a great price, as long as you don’t mind the somewhat dated rooms. Renovation is the one thing it really needs. The location is perfect and the staff are absolutely lovely. They have lots of convenient amenities and services: in-room massages, laundry arranged through partners, a car to and from Kamala beach and the mall, a tourism desk for trips and adventures, ice cream, welcome drinks, and a great breakfast served in your room or by your pool. If you want to rent a motorcycle, a partner can deliver it to the hotel and pick it up there.

A small travel tip: take a regular car from the airport, since most vans can’t make it all the way up the hill. Once there, the hotel is even prettier than the photos, the staff are very kind, and the room has everything you need. They can usually provide a car if you want to go down into town. Everything else was perfect, and I highly recommend it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

We had a gorgeous ocean-view pool suite with a large private pool on the balcony, plus a big bathroom, living area, kitchenette, and soft bed. The staff were all kind and accommodating. I have celiac disease, and they offered to prepare my meals separately, including breakfast, which is usually a buffet. We had to take a taxi to and from the main strip when we wanted to go out, but the ride was short and cheap. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
