Kamala Falls 3BR Seaview w Private Pool

Kamala Falls was a peaceful, cozy condo with a relaxing atmosphere, convenient location and welcoming, helpful staff. It worked well for either a short stay or longer-term living, and I really enjoyed being there. I’ve seen comments about the tap water. In my experience, this can happen in many condos in Thailand, and it’s easy to address by adding another water filter from Lazada. After that, everything works perfectly. I’d recommend Kamala Falls to anyone wanting a comfortable, quiet place.

It’s up on a hill, so the area is really quiet, and the decor is simple and white. We stayed on the ground floor right beside the pool, which my friends loved. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Kamala centre, and you’ll need a vehicle. The staff didn’t speak English, so I still don’t know why the power went out on our first check-in day.

The location is ideal, between Kamala and Patong. If you can choose your apartment, go for a ground-floor one in building C so you can reach the pool from the balcony. Anna helped us with all our requests.

Dear fellow countrymen, under no circumstances stay in this condo! Please DON'T choose this condo! It’s NOT SAFE for your health! Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. We couldn’t live here and left after six months, without looking back. They kept our deposit despite the living-condition problems we experienced. Neighbors in other buildings felt the same. Management was inept, and agent Antonio didn’t even come to accept the apartment at the end. He clearly didn’t want to face us or answer difficult questions. He knows about all the problems and still rents out these defective apartments. Just awful. The apartments look stylish and beautiful, but living here was impossible. There were damp or sewer-like smells that couldn’t be removed, and mold in the new apartment. The biggest problem was the water: it was rusty, dirty and smelled very bad. It kept cutting off unexpectedly, and many times we went to bed without a shower. For two months we had to wash our faces and brush our teeth with bottled water. We asked management many times to fix it, but after two months there were only promises and nobody came. The management team boss, Anna, promised help, then did nothing. After two months she said it wasn’t her job and told us to contact another department about the water. She never gave us contact details or said where to find them. I sent photos and videos, but nothing changed. She eventually stopped answering my messages. I’ve kept them as proof. Our utility bills never arrived on time, so we always had to ask, and they always had mistakes. There were always problems here, and we were exhausted by it. We left early and lost our deposit, even though in our view the poor living conditions were clear violations. The deposit wasn’t returned. At check-in, the bathtub was broken and took four days to repair, nearly all the closet doors were broken, and the apartment was dirty enough that I had to clean it myself. Our agent Antonio helped with these issues at first. But when the water problems became serious and we said we wanted to leave and get our deposit back, he said it wasn’t his problem and sent us to the management office, where we were also ignored. On our last day, Antonio didn’t come to accept the apartment or apologize for the trouble. He didn’t want to face us. It was very unprofessional. He knows all these problems and continues to sell apartments. Oh my God… Be careful. This is our third home in Phuket, and we’ve never encountered such unprofessional behavior before. The condo and its water wore us down. I had allergies and inflammation and needed treatment. We’ll post this information wherever we can to warn people.
