The rooms are basic, but you get air conditioning, fresh bottles of water each day, and room cleaning. The location is good, the river view is great, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast could use a few more choices, but for the price it’s a good deal.

The owners were really friendly and helpful, and sorted out travel companies and booked our day trips. Food and drinks were very cheap and tasted brilliant, especially with the sun setting over the river. The rooms are very, very basic, so you get what you pay for there. Looking past that, it’s a really good bargain stay.

I felt welcome from the start, thanks to the lovely owner who greeted me. The rooms are simple but clean, and I got fresh towels and water every day. Breakfast is basic, just coffee or tea with toast and jam, but you can help yourself and enjoy it while looking out over the river Kwai. I had a great time!

It’s a good-value place with large, clean rooms, set in a lovely, quiet spot by the river. I’d describe it as a backpacker hostel, nothing more, though it seems fine for families staying briefly in Kanchanaburi.

Good price, good service, and very hospitable. It’s beside the river and close enough to walk to the River Kwai bridge. They also gave useful suggestions for spending time economically.
