The hosts were lovely and really accommodating. After travelling for a while, it was nice to slow down and feel at home. They were always friendly and greeted me with a smile. Their daughter helps run the homestay and was around to help or suggest things to see and do in Kanchanaburi. The pin on Google maps is wrong, so it was a little tricky to find. The homestay is near the market and a reasonable walk from downtown, with a great riverside restaurant just around the corner. My room was spacious and had AC. I liked unwinding on the rooftop balcony and watching the sunset.

Breakfast was included and perfect, and chatting with the parents was an absolute delight. The homestay itself was excellent, with a perfect room and first-class amenities. Just remember to switch on the hot water before showering. The rooftop bar is so relaxing, and the beer is the cheapest in town, even cheaper than 7/11.

The host was super friendly and helpful, and she made a delicious breakfast. My room was clean, really nice, and had everything I needed. I had such a great time at Kan Haven homestay.
