I wanted to explore the area this time, so I chose a simple city room since I wouldn’t spend much time there. My last resort stay in Kanchanaburi had been quite isolated for getting anywhere. I arrived at 9 a.m. planning only to leave my bags and head out, but the staff kindly let me check in early and gave me a free upgrade to a room overlooking the pool. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I didn’t catch the staff member’s name, but I took a photo, so the hotel can see who’s giving guests such excellent service. The hotel was quiet, clean, and well lit, and felt very comfortable. It’s conveniently close to Bridge over the River Kwai, about a 10-minute walk. The riverside restaurant was lovely too, with beautiful views and delicious food. It was a wonderful stay and experience, highly recommended.

The individual chalet rooms were clean, nicely presented, and came with a small balcony. There’s also a very nice little pool and deck. The resort is close to River Kwai Bridge and the markets, though it’s about two miles from the town center and bars. Highly recommended.
