Rinlada House

The location is peaceful but still close to everything, and I'd gladly come back and recommend the place. The room was large and very clean, with strong WiFi, good A/C that didn't smell, and a fridge that stayed on even when the room was unoccupied. The bathroom was big with warm water, the bed was softer than most, and the receptionist was kind and full of useful information. The cleaners were lovely too. They noticed we'd been using one of the glasses for tea and left us a huge mug the next day. The garden, parking area, and breakfast space are simple but have a nice feel, with flowers, a small fountain, staff kids on Sunday, and kittens playing around. Breakfast was basic, but coffee, toast, and jam were enough.

It was easy to walk to several places of interest, including the bus station, night bazaar, clock tower, walking street, and restaurants. The hotel sits off the main road, so it was generally quiet. For the price, it was great value. The room was large and had a fridge, a good air conditioner, and surprisingly strong WiFi. The shower's water heater gave steady hot water with good pressure.

The only real drawback was the shared area below the rooms. If noisy guests gather there in the evening, it can be disturbing, though you can hopefully ask them to quiet down. Otherwise, this was a great little guest house on a quiet street with other guest houses, not far from the centre. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom where the shower was partly separated, strong WiFi, decent hot water, good air conditioning, and a fridge. At check-in the staff were kind and informative, telling us about Chiang Rai sights and the flower festival that was underway. There was a simple breakfast of toast, jam, biscuits, and bananas. Housekeeping was very attentive. One day we felt sick and left the room late, so we said cleaning wasn't needed, but they still brought towels, paper, water, and even a trash bag. When they saw we were drinking tea from the glass provided, they also brought us a mug.

Good value for money, with a great location and a very nice host. The room was big, clean, and nice, and it was cleaned every day.
