U Dee Room & Coffee

This small, homestay-style hotel is a good budget choice if you want a nice location. Most of Kanchanaburi city’s highlights are within walking distance, as are the main bar and tourist area. The nearest 7/11 is about five minutes away. Rooms are clean and spacious, with good air conditioning and decent-sized balconies. The Thai-style bathroom is fine and works okay. Reception isn’t always open, but the host gives you a phone number in case you need to get in touch outside those hours. I’d recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable, and felt fair for the price. It’s in a good spot near the center, so it’s worth staying here if that’s what you’re looking for. There’s also a coffee cafe downstairs. The barista was very kind, and the coffee and other drinks were tasty. I think he chooses good ingredients. I loved the matcha with milk, you should try it 👍🥰

I’ve stayed here twice already and would highly recommend the rooms. It’s an affordable option for couples or travelers, right on the main street among bars, restaurants, and street food, and close to River kwai Bridge. The room was clean and the furniture looked good. There are three floors, with guest rooms on the 2nd and 3rd, but no elevator. There’s parking for motorbikes.

We spent two nights here. It’s on the main street of kwai river, with nice staff and everything clean for a good price. If you’re sightseeing and only need a place for the basics and to sleep, it works well. They also have a cafeteria with cookies and treats.
