The staff and owner were so kind and polite, and they even treated us to mangosteen at the end. We asked if they could arrange fruit that wasn’t on the menu, and they did. The place was quiet, with a unique atmosphere, and the price and quality were excellent.

A really distinctive place in kanchanaburi. The café is on the first floor, with the entire second floor set aside for staying. It mixes a tanditional thai house with modern interior style, which made for a special stay!

We’re here as a family and the atmosphere is lovely. The owner welcomed us so warmly and told us fascinating stories about the building’s history and Kanchanaburi’s unique local food. The drinks are great, especially the lemon tea and special coffee.

I couldn’t find the opening hours on the building or online, but when I went on a Saturday, they were just opening around 8am. The historic home has a gorgeous café downstairs, with plenty of seating and breezy spots to hang out. There’s a big coffee and espresso menu. I had an Americano, and my friend ordered a macadamia latte. Both were delicious. The freezer is packed with pastries like croissants, shio pan, muffins, and cakes, and they’ll heat one up if you ask. There are nuts, chips, and other small snacks for sale too. I tried the chocolate croissant and was very impressed. The owner was chatting with guests, sharing the location’s history and suggesting things to do around town. It all felt relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely stay at the guesthouse upstairs next time I’m in Kanchanaburi. ☺️
