A lovely beachside place, miles from anywhere, with its own restaurant. The huts have AC and a basic private bathroom, though there’s no hot water. WiFi was available and the staff were very helpful. They don’t speak English, but offer free bikes for exploring and free kayaks, which I’m going to try tomorrow. Super excited and impressed.

The little beach houses are cute, with AC and private bathrooms. It’s off the beaten track, with hardly any foreigners. At low tide, have a look along the beach for treasure. Around dusk, you can play catch with the crabs, then fall asleep to a distant call to prayer and the local dog. That grumpy cat toilet-paper holder is such a statement piece, I had to get one for my own bathroom.

The beach is lovely to explore at low tide, when the water pulls way back and you can spot starfish and sand crabs. At high tide, the water comes much farther up. The staff were friendly, helpful, and lovely, though the management seemed poorly organized. We arrived at 2 PM with two rooms booked, but one was still waiting on door repairs and the other hadn’t been cleaned. We couldn’t check in until 3 PM. The AC in both rooms was unreliable, working sometimes and not others. The rooms weren’t great, but the staff were very helpful.
