At the budget price, which is cheaper than the nearby hotels, the room was clean and had no insects. Daily cleaning was done, bottled water was provided, the toilet had a bidet, and the shower pressure was strong. The staff were polite and helpful. I also booked a taxi to the airport through the hotel, and it cost less than taking Grab. Tuk Tuks are easy to find near the hotel, and Pratunam and PhyaThai are within walking distance. This place isn’t for fussy travelers, and you shouldn’t expect a 5-star luxury stay. The hotel is next to train tracks, so expect noise from two different types of trains. The room isn’t soundproof, and you can hear activity outside.

A comfortable little place if you’re on a budget. It’s not luxurious, but you can feel the locals’ hospitality. The only issue was the water getting hot because the main reservoir kept heating up in the sun :)

The price was pretty affordable around the holidays, and it’s okay as a place to sleep. The AC takes at least half an hour to cool the room. Curtains don’t block out the morning light, and there’s a rooster calling from 5am until 7am. There’s no microwave or hot water for tea or coffee.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was free and basic, with toast and jam, tea and instant coffee, and the hotel is near Pratunam Market. Those were the few bright spots. I was relieved I’d booked just one night. Getting there was a hassle: it’s tucked down a dark alley, and taxi drivers didn’t want to come close. I dragged my luggage for about 15 minutes to reach it. When I left, more than 10 Bolt or Grab drivers canceled, so I had to walk over 10 minutes again to find a main road where a taxi would take me. The building is old, and the rooms look like they haven’t been renovated. My first room was on the top floor, where the hallway was pitch dark and smelled awful. The room had a strong drain-like odor. Staff offered to spray Febreze, but that seemed like a temporary fix, so I declined and asked several times to change rooms before they agreed. The replacement on the fourth floor smelled a little better, but still looked worn, and the air conditioner seemed ancient. Even at 16°C, it barely cooled the room. Sleep was a problem all night. Doors banged and people had loud, drunken conversations in the hall. In the morning there was construction noise and trains passing right beside the hotel. The soundproofing was so poor it felt like sleeping at a construction site. The mattress itself was okay. I booked because of the glowing earlier reviews, but my stay didn’t match them. I’d be careful before choosing this place.

The room was neat and clean, and the location was pretty good. The staff were especially kind, helpful, and nice.
