They helped with our luggage on arrival and departure, and the island is lovely and easy to get around on foot. We spent four nights here, switching from a bungalow with a private bathroom for two nights to one with shared bathrooms for the next two, since the private one wasn’t available. The team were flexible about moving our things and even upgraded us for one night at no extra cost. We made extra work for them on one excursion we booked through them, but the experience still turned out excellent. The shared bathrooms were clean, regularly tended, and never busy. We only tried Thai food, and it was delicious, with good portions and better value than other island restaurants. Highly recommended, and thanks to the whole team!

The staff were the best part of my four nights at Paradise Lost. They were professional, kind, and always ready to help with questions or anything I needed. The bungalow was a little old but well kept, with a comfortable bed, hot water, and a bathroom that was almost too big. I’d read about problems getting in and out of the mosquito net, but I had no trouble. The fan was welcome all night, even without AC. The place itself is magical and unique, but I felt the price was high for what was included. I paid 13,400 baht / 357 eur for four nights. Breakfast and a mini fridge would have helped justify it. Also, a loud generator kept drowning out the jungle quiet in the afternoons and evenings. I can’t say whether Paradise Lost is responsible, but it bothered me several times, which was a pity when I’d come to get away from the noise of big cities.

We had such a wonderful time in your bungalow, thanks for having us! The atmosphere and company were lovely, and we’ll remember it for a long time. Hope we can do it again soon!

The jungle setting was calm and pleasant, and we had a nice four-night stay in the clean but very basic wooden cottage. Still, it felt overpriced. The rates are well above Thailand’s average, though the remote location makes them understandable. For over 50 eur a night, I’d expect Wi-Fi, but it only worked in the restaurant and not at night. The kitchen was the main reason I can’t rate it higher. The Thai-Italian menu was disappointing and very overpriced. The pizza was tiny and tasteless, one of the worst I’ve had. Tom Yum and Pad Thai weren’t as tasty as elsewhere in Thailand. There also wasn’t much to do if we’d stayed indoors, but we were out most of the time. Overall, the stay was fine, just too expensive.

A quiet, tucked-away spot in the middle of the island, with lovely staff. It’s solid rather than fancy, and I’d definitely stay here again.
