The good parts were the setting near Charlie beach, with greenery all around, and staff who were usually trying to help, though there were exceptions. The rest of my stay was awful. There was mold throughout, ants in large numbers, and dirt everywhere. Spraying poison in the corners didn’t stop the ants. The toilet and shower were dirty, the doormats looked as if they hadn’t been washed in ages, and insects came up through a hole in the shower floor. I had to move through three bungalows. The first had no hot water, the second had no electricity, and the third was moldy and full of ants. The couple next door had a mattress completely covered in mold, and the neighbors on the other side had no water one day. I’m still coughing from the air and hope to recover on Koh lanta. At checkout, staff tried to charge me twice, saying I hadn’t paid. Gruesome. Avoid this place.

A lovely pool, scooter rental, and lots of birds. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and caring. Great spot, just a few minutes from Charlie Beach.

Charlie Beach is only about five minutes away, and the resort has a clean pool that works for small children too. It’s a quiet place to stay, with very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The food is freshly prepared and delicious. A perfect stay for us, and we’d love to return to Koh Mook.

A little balcony is handy for sitting in the evening or getting out of the sun during the day. The rooms are decent, and the owner is really nice. You can get free water from the fridge if you ask. Probably the best place to stay on the island. Charlie beach is about an eight-minute walk, while town is around fifteen minutes. Charlie beach is where you’ll want to be.
