Beyond Karon

We spent a lovely holiday here from 30th December to 05th January 2026. The view over Karon beach is beautiful, and our room was comfortable, clean, and had a great walk-in shower. The shared areas were kept just as spotless. The two pools have loungers and umbrellas, and the pool bar was a favorite. We could sip a drink by the water and watch the sunset over Phuket. Breakfast was very good, though the sweet pastries were limited, which we Italians missed! Lunch's Pad Thai was a highlight, while dinner could use some improvement. A big thank you to all the staff for being courteous, professional, and consistently available. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend the resort.

The pool was in excellent shape, and we also really enjoyed the spa. The resort sits in a perfect spot, and the staff made the stay memorable. Chef Pra Mol's cooking was extraordinary. Fah in the restaurant went out of her way to handle all our requests and make sure everything was right, while Gang at reception was always attentive and thoughtful. Five stars.

We were there Nov 17-21, 2025, and the beachside location was a real highlight. The hotel is at the southern end of Karon beach, possibly the only one directly on the beach, and Kata is within walking distance. Breakfast was another standout, with plenty of choices, sea views, and welcoming staff greeting us with smiles. The property was clean and well cared for. We regularly saw staff cleaning and looking after the gardens, and room cleaning kept things fresh and stocked with amenities. The air conditioning worked well, which was a welcome break from the humid weather. A great stay, and I'd recommend it. 5*

We went to meet my family at the hotel, but the security guard spoke to us rudely before we even entered. We couldn't understand what he was saying, so we went into the lobby confused and explained that we were meeting people for dinner. Then the manager came to reception and told us it was an adults-only facility. We said we'd just wait in the lobby, and she said we could use their restaurant, though we didn't want to. She came back again and said she would allow us this once if we could control our 4 yr old. That was upsetting because our child didn't need controlling. He was sitting quietly in the lobby like a good boy. The communication with staff needs work, especially management. My family had already had problems with staffing and service during their stay, so we weren't the only ones who felt the staff were rude. They should improve how they speak with guests.
