The staff were really nice, and the sheets and towels were clean. But we were put on the zero floor, where it smelled moldy and there was no way to get fresh air. We were next to what seemed to be a laundry area and heard lots of annoying, unidentified noises at night. A lizard also got into our open cookie pack :D

The room was fairly clean and the price was good, but the stay was just okay. Kata House 2 is tucked into a back alley, where workers from the seafood restaurant sometimes hang out. Once, some random guy followed me home. There was also a strange plumbing panel in the middle of my floor that made trickling sounds. I think it was a sewer.

They canceled my booking without telling me beforehand. I’d let them know an emergency meant I couldn’t check in on the day I’d planned, but said I’d pay the full amount as soon as I got there. They ignored that message and sold my room to someone else before I arrived.

The rooms are small but really comfortable, and everything is clean. A very nice place, recommended for everyone.
