Nan inn Bungalow

The woman running the place was friendly when we arrived, but by the end she was very unfriendly. We asked for help arranging a taxi and she ignored us. We checked out at 6:30 a.m. and were waiting in our room for our ride at 6:45 when she told us to get out and take our bags. Official checkout was later, so we felt unwelcome and were kicked out rudely. The room needs renovation. The toilet lid was very dirty and old, and the toilet leaned to one side. There was a strong, unpleasant damp smell unless we kept the air conditioning on. Yet signs around the room warned that if we ran the AC too long it would explode and we’d have to pay for it. Maybe they’re trying to save energy and money, but the smell was really bad with it off. There’s also a 500 cash deposit at the start of the stay. We paid 1,454 a night and feel we could find much better for those room conditions. If you want to cook, you have to use the very dirty outdoor kitchen. The photos on Google are NOT UPDATED. It doesn’t look like that anymore, and the place in the main Google photo no longer exists. I’m posting what guests will actually see when they open their room door. The good parts are being close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. There’s also a mango 🥭 tree on the property, and you can take one if you find one. 👍🏼
