Thira house felt like a hidden gem, more like a home than a hotel. The front desk lady was friendly, and housekeeping did a nice job with the daily cleaning. They left two bottles of water at our door every morning, which was really kind. The TV has Netflix, Prime, YouTube, and more. Our room was spacious and clean, with great air conditioning. Karon Beach is about a 10-minute walk away. If I'm being picky, the bathroom smelled like a sewer, though I found that issue in a lot of places in Thailand. There's no elevator, and climbing to the fifth floor in the heat was a trek. We knew that before arriving, so it's not really a complaint.

Lilly at the front desk was pleasant and helpful during our four days at Thira House. Our room was spacious and clean, and the location suited us perfectly, close enough for a short walk to the beach but away from the crowds. The accommodations were just right for us, and we'd recommend the place to anyone staying in Karon Beach.

The ladies working here were always smiling, and the service was top class. They provide free water for each room, which was appreciated. Great location, and the rooms were lovely. Very pleased.

The terrace was especially nice, and there’s a washing machine on the first floor. The room was clean, and getting in and out was easy. If there’s availability, you can pay a little extra for a night flight.

The staff are very friendly. There’s a Tom Yum Kung place just a minute away that serves Tom Yum, though rice isn’t included. I’ve been three times and haven’t found a single hair, so I think it’s worth a visit.
