I ended up extending my stay after booking five nights in a four-woman dorm. The place is well located near Kata and Karon beaches, the town centre, and the night market. The room stayed clean, and the staff were friendly. It's a good fit for solo travellers who like to be active during the day. Checkout was at noon, but I was able to stay until 4 pm without paying extra.

We had a double room at TP Hostel with a balcony facing the courtyard, so the nightlife didn't bother us much. Kata Beach is just a few minutes away on foot, and there's a minimarket next door with TP open 24 hours a day. The hostel has been completely renovated, and the staff are incredibly friendly. You can borrow beach mattresses, and fruit and cakes are offered every day. The owner does everything to make your stay good.

The people at TP hostel were really kind, and they even had snacks for guests. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it.

The room was quite small, but comfortable enough. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
