On Hotel Phuket Hotel

My parents stayed here, and I came to visit them. A cockroach was the first thing I saw, so if you like cockroaches, this is the place for you. The staff’s attitude left a lot to be desired. I understand people get tired, but when you work in tourism with travelers, it would be nice to see a smile now and then. Before my parents left the hotel to return to Russia, they left some medicine for me. I was staying elsewhere, so I called reception and arranged to pick it up the next day. When I came in, they couldn’t find it, and it didn’t seem like they’d even tried to look.

If all you need is somewhere to sleep while enjoying the beach and local life, this place is perfect. It’s basic, but right among everything, with restaurants on both sides and three live music bars within 100 meters. Despite that, the room was quiet. The beach is 200 meters away.

The staff could be more helpful, and they don’t speak much English. Take photos of the room when you arrive, or you might be charged for items that were already supposed to be there. The location is great, though road-facing rooms get very noisy. The beds are comfortable and breakfast is decent, but the bathroom gets soaked because there’s no divider between the shower and toilet.

A good little hotel in a very convenient location. The room was clean, had a safe, and came with one free bottle of water each day. There’s private parking for motorbikes, and smoking is allowed in the room. Breakfast was okay and runs only until 9:30. I had trouble arranging an early breakfast because they put down the wrong date, even though I’d first seen it written correctly.
