The service was acceptable, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I’d paid for a Pool View room and was given a Garden View room when I arrived, which wasn’t what I had reserved. There was also little flexibility around check-in and check-out. I only asked for one extra hour before leaving, but even a short late checkout costs extra depending on the time. The strict policy felt inconsiderate toward guests.

We stayed for four nights, including New Year’s Eve. The staff were the standout, always helpful whenever we needed anything. The room was good, with a lovely view from the 6th floor, a big fridge, air conditioning, and towels for both the shower and beach. There’s a spa and pool, and you can get a second key with a 200 BTH deposit. There’s also a PC at reception if you need one. Kata beach, 7/11, lots of good restaurants, and massage salons are nearby. I couldn’t find a real downside, just little things that don’t count.

Bright, clean room with green mountains behind us and the ocean in front. Great value, and they give you free drinks every day. I’d definitely come back next time.

Sugar Palm Grand made for a fantastic stay. Getting around was easy thanks to the location, though it still felt like a getaway. The rooms were spacious and well looked after, and the staff gave us great service the whole time. Definitely one of my top choices in Phuket.
