Villa Ginborn

There were six adults in our group, and we had plenty of room in the house. Pia was easy to work with and had left us drinks and snacks. She also suggested a cooking class, which we really enjoyed. You can walk into town, and getting a Grab is simple too. Kata and Karon have friendly locals, lovely beaches, and plenty of places to eat. I’d definitely recommend the villa, and I’d come back to Phuket.

We barely wanted to leave the villa. It was even prettier than we expected, with a great view, and everything was clean and tidy. Pia and Roger were quick to reply and really helpful throughout, so we had no complaints. Pia arranged airport rides for us and, at very short notice, managed to find a private chef to cook dinner one evening. She was a fantastic host. I hope I get to return.

The villa gave us the choice of a quiet, relaxing break or something more active. It’s a quick walk to the beach, with more restaurants nearby than we had time to try. The ocean views are fantastic. Inside, the rooms are huge. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub, and the showers were great. There’s air conditioning and fans throughout, including outside. The pool was much larger than I expected, and the villa looked even better than the photos. The hosts were lovely and close by, showing up within minutes whenever we needed something. They’d left lots of fruit, snacks, and even beer, which was a surprise, and their recommendations helped make our trip much better. Highly recommend. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!
