Permsuk Resort (SHA Extra Plus)

We were asleep in our room at around 3:30 AM on February 20, 2026, when someone pounded on the glass door and broke it. He reached his whole arm through the shattered glass and tried to turn the simple, round doorknob from inside. I shouted three times before he finally left. It was terrifying. We kept asking the hotel from then until we left, around 11:30 AM, whether they had called the police and whether there was CCTV footage. We were told there was no footage of the area where it happened, only of the main road, and that footage could not clearly identify the suspect. Hours went by without confirmation that police had arrived. As we were getting ready to leave, I checked the police report again, and hotel staff asked if we wanted to go with them to the police station. Nearly seven hours had passed by then. We asked them to contact police and update us. They verbally assured us they would handle it. Over the following two days, we repeatedly asked for confirmation of the official police report and case number but got no clear answer. We did not receive a document confirming that police had opened a case until Monday at 6 PM, the fourth day after the incident. The hotel later offered to refund that night’s room and asked us to delete this review. We refused. We are concerned about the attempted intrusion, the lack of security personnel on site at the time, and inadequate camera coverage in the area. We remain very dissatisfied and disappointed by how the incident was handled. This account reflects our real experience.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and it was great value for money. The modern, cozy bungalows sit just a few metres from nearly empty beaches. A very nice place to stay.

What you get doesn’t justify the price. It’s way too expensive.
