The animals at Stella's place are affectionate, and I felt safe around the dogs. Stella has a real heart for animals, and I enjoyed talking with her about her life in Khanom and her work caring for stray dogs and cats in the community. She makes you feel at home and goes out of her way to look after you, even checking whether you've eaten. I connected deeply with the energy of her place. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is great, the Wi-Fi is strong, and there's hot water. The fridge even has a proper freezer. She made sure I had plenty of drinking water and did my laundry for 50bhat. Stella is a fantastic masseuse. I had a 90-minute massage using oil she mixes herself, and my skin has never looked better. You can buy small bottles of the oil too, which I recommend because she gets lots of orders for it. I picked this place after reading the reviews and am so glad I did. Can't wait to come back.

The owner was kind and helpful, and I appreciate that, but the room itself was a real disappointment. There was a strong damp smell in the bathroom, the toilet seat had urine stains, and I found lots of mosquitoes in there. I also saw a cockroach, which was one too many. The walls had mosquito marks all over them, and one towel was stained brown. I've stayed in plenty of places over the years, and cleanliness is basic. I'm being honest so other guests know what to expect.

I arrived very late, and Stella had left the key in the door so my room was ready for me. That was thoughtful after a long day. She also spends a lot of time vaccinating, feeding, and caring for dozens of former street dogs and cats. The cats were affectionate and the dogs friendly and polite. Please consider supporting her animal work, she really cares about giving them a loving life. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed that smelled fresh. The shower heater worked great, the AC was by the bed, and the Wi-Fi was strong and steady. It's a great hotel in Khanom.

It's quiet here, but getting to the main road is easy, and the location is good. Stella is kind and helpful, and her little group of animals is so cute. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
