Connext Residence Phuket

It's quiet here, and one of my absolute favourites. The pool is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and security is always around and very helpful. Internet speeds are excellent, with ping around 4-10 and download and upload about 400. No electricity issues. No insects in the apartments, though an occasional gekko might show up. You're not in the middle of the tourist area, but it's 10 minutes from Phuket Old Town and a 30 minute ride to beaches. The location is probably the best part, right in the city center with everything about 5 minutes away. The immigration department is almost around the corner. The girls working in the office are great and helpful! Pay attention to exactly where your room is. There's a sunny side that can be quite uncomfortable to live on, especially during the Thai summer.

We'd had this hotel booked for over a month when the hotel transferred us here, then cancelled us an hour before we arrived without explaining why. Once we got there, they offered no help and showed no apology. Several times they left us stranded, telling us to “wait here for 10 minutes”. Horrible service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The way the hotel handled our booking was completely unacceptable. They canceled it without warning just one day before we were due to arrive, so we were left scrambling. When we called, it took ages for someone to pick up, and the staff member spoke to me carelessly without offering a proper apology. I’d never recommend staying here.
