You can see the windmills if you walk around to the front, though they aren’t visible from the room. The place sits on a hill with a nice mountain view. Getting luggage to the bungalow is awkward because it’s far from the parking area. The bathroom is small and has no sink, and the mattress is hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn’t very tasty.

I stayed on October 13, 2017, and really liked how quiet and private the place felt. There are only a few rooms, away from the big resorts, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. Our room was clean and everything worked. We only tried breakfast, which may suit people who prefer food that isn't spicy. It’s under five minutes from the main road to Camp Son, not counting the drive along the side streets, so I’d give the location five stars. Finding the entrance takes some care. The road is bumpy and could be tough for a low-clearance car. Parking is a fair distance from the rooms, though you can drive in along the resort road to unload first. I’d rate the entrance three stars because it’s hard to spot, off the main road, and reached by a rough road. That’s not the resort’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

The views stretch across trees and rolling hills, with Wat Pha Sorn Kaew and the wind turbines in sight. It’s affordable and clean, and has the basics you need: a TV, water heater, air conditioning, refrigerator, and BBQ grill. The owner is very friendly too.
