The owners are warm and friendly, and the cook makes tasty food. Breakfast is simple, and there’s a stove in the evening if you want to grill your own food. You may need to buy extra ingredients. The houses are clean and each has its own decor, though there aren’t many to choose from. There are few trees, so the benches offer no shade during the day and don’t do much against the sun. Nights are cool and comfortable. For fog, come near the end of the rainy season. By late winter, strong winds can mean no fog, though it’s cold.

You wake up with fog drifting around, and that stay amid nature on Khao Kho is hard to forget. The food is delicious, especially the steak, and the resort sets up a grill for you and your family to cook together, which is fun. Accommodation may be a little expensive, so it suits families who really want to relax. We recommend going at the end of the rainy season or start of the cool season.

Khun Grant was so welcoming and looked after us like friends staying at his home. I was really impressed, and if I get the chance, I’ll stay at I Din Klin Mok again. The atmosphere is great, and the houses are spaced apart enough to give you privacy.

Pets can stay here, and the view is really beautiful. The weather and shady atmosphere are lovely too. The resort road is steep and winding, but the views along it are good.

That lawn is great for the family to hang out and do things together. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food is delicious. The morning rice porridge with toppings is especially good, you’ll definitely want a second bowl. I’d go back two or three more times after one visit.
