Kaokorswiss Resort

The resort's position on the slope gives it a great viewpoint, and the price isn't too high. But getting there means taking a very steep, single-lane road. The buildings also seem poorly maintained, and breakfast was just so-so. This used to feel like a good choice for its location and view, which is a shame. The way it's run and owned feels unprofessional now, so I'd compare it with other places before booking.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the view is hard to beat. It's just below Khao Kor's main viewpoint, looking down over the reservoir. The restaurant serves steak for lunch until 5 pm and Shabu in the evening. For other meals or an evening snack, the market above the resort has options. Rooms P1 to P5 have the better view.

Khao Kho's view is the best part, and for the price, it's worth it. The rooms and service could be better, though I wouldn't expect too much from them at this price. The road up to the hotel is quite steep and dangerous.

The porridge at breakfast was good, and the panorama room exceeded our expectations. The one downside was the weak Wi-Fi signal.
