Kularbdoi Resort

I paid under 1,000 THB per night, which seemed reasonable, and the owner was friendly. Service was fair. The bungalow sits up on a hill near other bungalows, and it’s about a 7-10 minute drive to Khao Kho Sea of Mist Viewpoint. The room is spacious, with a balcony out front. Parking is in a lot that fits up to five cars. Inside there’s enough lighting, and the AC works well without making noise. There’s a clothes rack but no wardrobe, plus a TV with cable and a remote that only changes channels. A fridge is near the entrance, with two free 600 mL bottles of water and two glasses inside. The bed is large, though the mattress is quite hard. There’s only one two-hole outlet, near the fridge and a bit far from the bed. The shower has a gas water heater, but the water only gets warm, around 32 degrees Celsius at most. Shampoo and bath gel are provided.

This is my second time staying here. The bedroom is clean and quiet, and it’s a relaxing place with a shady atmosphere. The morning air feels so good, and it’s close to tourist spots.

The room is roomy, and the balcony catches a cool, refreshing breeze. I brought a hammock and slept comfortably in it. The host was kind, friendly and understanding. You can order jim jum (hot pot soup) for dinner without going out to find it, and it was delicious! There’s an auntie nearby who gives relaxing, excellent massages at reasonable prices. Contact her directly. From the balcony, windmills are visible to the right, and a short drive away you can see a temple on the right too.

Breakfast was good and kept getting refilled, and the staff were especially attentive and kind. The room was generally fine. The bathroom may have had a slight smell from slow drainage, but it was acceptable.
