If you’re looking to get away from city stress somewhere quiet, this place is worth considering. It’s a pleasant, simple resort without a posh feel, more like a three-star stay. Our room had enough space for two adults and two kids, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water.

Breakfast was really hearty, with each of us getting porridge as well as an American breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling. Our room was huge, though it had lots of ants. The resort sits on uneven ground, so some rooms are up a slope or need a short flight of stairs. It wasn't all bad.

Since the resort is tucked into a hilly, secluded part of Khao Kho, having a car is a must for getting around. The place has a peaceful setting and a nice atmosphere, with comfortable beds and pleasant rooms, though the in-room amenities are minimal. There’s no tea, coffee, or minibar, and the WiFi was terrible. Staff were friendly and smiled, but didn’t seem to know much about the area, nearby attractions, or even the closest 7-11.
