The Blue Sky Khao Kho

We picked the Chateau for our stay because it had been a dream destination since we were young, and we’re so glad we finally came. The rooms were spotless and beautifully done in an English style, with strong water pressure and very comfortable beds. The garden was gorgeous, with a lovely light and sound show that guests could enjoy for free. Non-guests could attend too for a reasonable 100 baht. We had fun taking photos by the fairy tale castle, Cinderella's carriage, and the merry-go-round, and the entrance looked lovely with all its lights. Service was excellent. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always smiling. A button press was all it took to get a ride to the restaurant or around the resort, which made everything easy. The restaurant had stylish decor, tasty food, and beautiful mountain views, and the staff there were helpful and lovely. Ten stars still wouldn’t be enough for Blue Sky Khao Kho. We can’t wait to come back!

The grounds were scenic and well organized, with a clear map. All the staff were friendly, including the shuttle drivers, who took good care of the elderly members of our group, as did the F&B and reception teams. I’d strongly recommend it for a family trip, though not for older people who may have difficulty walking.

The resort grounds look especially lovely at night, with lighting that families and kids can enjoy. It feels like a little escape among Thailand's mountains, with fresh air, impressive views, and some distance from crowded places. The style has a European-inspired look.

They’re putting on a flower festival around this time of year, with pretty lights and live music in the evenings from 6 to 10 pm. It’s a really nice, wonderful resort.
