Srichada Hotel

The area is cool, the roads are good, and I went all over on my scooter. I rented a bike from the hotel. There’s a great viewpoint restaurant up the side road for amazing sunsets, though I walked because it’s easier than driving up the hill. The staff were superb and really helpful with sorting my transits and trips. Breakfast was great. I liked all the rooms, especially the ground floor ones, and stayed in three different rooms. No idiots around.

A handy budget option with a very big, clean room and nice service. They offer laundry and motorcycle rental, which makes things convenient. The one snag was that they didn’t have phone stands for the bikes, so we had to rent somewhere else.

The woman at the front desk was lovely, and at first the stay wasn’t too bad. The room was okay, but the floor was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. Checking out was disappointing: staff acknowledged me and told me to wait, then kept sweeping. It took more than 15 minutes to check out.

Everything was quiet, and the room had all the things I needed. It was spacious, with a nice balcony, comfortable mattress and good bed linen. The AC worked well and silently, and housekeeping came every day. I also appreciated the free coffee in the lobby. Staff were helpful and nice, and they fulfilled my room request. It’s a 15 minute walk to the beach and just 2 minutes to bars, supermarkets and restaurants. Fantastic value, and I had a great stay.
