The grounds are exquisite, with lots of tucked-away spots for dining. This restaurant has clearly been lovingly developed over the years. The menu is mostly Thai, with plenty of variety and good prices. There are also about four rooms for anyone looking for a quiet stay. It’s a little off the beaten track, but well worth the trip.

Gary was a wonderful host, helping us make sense of the menu and pointing us to some delicious choices. The place and its decor are amazing, too. We had a really lovely, delicious dinner here. If you’re in Krabi and enjoy homemade local food, this restaurant is a must.

We came for lunch twice and loved the salads, especially the grilled eggplant salad with its fantastic smoky flavour. Don’t skip the curries either. They use mostly organic herbs and vegetables from their own garden, which we appreciated. Gary and Bua, who cooks all the lovely food, are both welcoming hosts.

There’s a lovely pool on site that both overnight guests and restaurant diners can use, making this a great place to spend an afternoon between lunch and dinner, or for both. The original restaurant now has three beautiful bungalows as well. Each one, like the separate dining spots, is set apart among garden ponds. Staying a night or two is well worth it for the accommodation, service, food, and atmosphere. Gary and Bua have created a peaceful, beautiful oasis near Nong Thale, about 15-20 minutes from Ao Nang and Krabi. I ate and stayed here twice over a couple of weeks, and can’t wait to return to Krabi. Whether you come for a meal or stay over, the food, friendly staff, and setting are as good as anything I’ve experienced in my years of traveling in Thailand.

We spent ten nights here and were comfortable throughout. The accommodation was private, and the garden had a magical feel. Gary, Bua, and Att took great care of us. The kitchen served excellent food, and we loved every dish. Gary and Att were also helpful with advice on exploring the region, from islands and mangroves to cities. An excellent stay!
