Andaman Holiday Resort

This was a really relaxing place to stay, and the attentive staff made my four nights in December great. Shout-out to the two women at reception who helped us out. Ao Nang is about 13 minutes away by taxi. I can’t fault the place and will definitely be back.

A nice spot overall, close to the beach, and I didn’t have any functional issues during my stay. The people are warm, the staff are sweet, and Sin is amazing. Checkout was a little disappointing, though. I felt the person at the front desk could have been more empathetic.

The location made it easy to get around: the beach, 7-eleven and restaurants were all a five to ten-minute walk away. We rented a scooter and used the laundry service, and both were excellent and affordable. The staff were really nice and helpful. We spent a week here and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were large and clean, with daily cleaning and fresh water provided both then and with breakfast. Breakfast was served in the room, or you could pick it up at reception each morning. There was plenty, with eggs, sausages, vegetables, butter and jam, toast, and different fresh fruits. Highly recommend.

The pool was small but lovely. It has a children’s corner, a shallow section, a smaller deeper section, and two sunbeds. We spent a lot of time enjoying it. The beach is just 700 meters away, an easy walk or drive down the road. The hotel itself was nice, and we enjoyed our three nights there and would book again. The room was spacious and clean, but the balcony door didn’t shut properly and ants got in. When we arrived, nobody was at reception. It took a while for someone to come after we called the number posted there. The staff struggled with English, but tried their best to help. The hotel offers an airport taxi for 600 baht, which seemed quite expensive. We’d suggest getting one through the Grab App instead.
