The hot springs were a real highlight, and we left feeling recharged by the nature and the warmth of the host. She was so caring, made us vegetarian meals, and put together a lovely breakfast. We stayed two nights at Amarit Onsen and would recommend it for a secluded escape with a nearly private hot bath. It’s far from everything, though, so you’ll need transport if you want food or drinks elsewhere. There are no shops, supermarkets, or restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again to our host for being so kind and welcoming.

The setting is beautiful and wonderfully removed from noise and crowds. Bring your own snacks and drinks, since it’s so far away. The host is lovely, serves meals, and can arrange a massage. Having one after a soak in the hot springs was especially nice. A great fit for a romantic break, and one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited.

We only booked a night while passing through, then liked it enough to stay for one more. It was so quiet that it felt like we had the place to ourselves, and they treated us like family. The hot spring right outside was amazing. Such a peaceful little break from the crowds. We’ll come back, thanks xx

The room was clean, and so was the pool for a hot springs dip. They grow fruits and vegetables in the garden, which was lovely to see. Most of all, the people hosting this beautiful place were genuinely warm and looked after everything with care. I’m very grateful, and I’ll come back whenever I’m nearby.

There’s nowhere nearby to go or anything to do, and the place is a long way from the city with no way to get there. The homestay didn’t have the amenities listed, and the beds had bugs and stains. Very disappointing.
