The Pride Residence

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but getting in and out was a hassle. You had to scan your hand, then enter an eight-digit code at both the building door and your room, with no room key provided. The place takes both monthly and daily guests, but has parking for only six cars, so I worried there'd be nowhere to leave mine after going out to eat. You can hear the trains clearly from the room, too, since it's close to the tracks and not soundproof. The 300 baht deposit was another concern. It could only be refunded after 10 AM, when staff came in, and only after they checked the room. We had to leave early, but it was dark and we were too tired to look for somewhere else, so we reluctantly stayed. I worried we might lose the deposit if they missed damage or found something wrong. I won't stay here again.

I got no sleep because the guests in the two rooms next door were drinking loudly, running around, banging doors, and coming and going all night until morning. There isn't a night concierge to help with that, so I won't come back. The room was spacious and clean, with a soft bed, but the refundable deposit and the awkward, noisy entrance were drawbacks. The train tracks are nearby, so trains can be heard too. This stay was a total disappointment.

For 750 baht, it was very good value, and I'd use the place again if I get the chance. We had a large, clean room with a roomy balcony, and there was parking. Entry felt secure, with separate codes for the accommodation door and the room. A microwave was provided, though I had to buy an adapter because the outlets were two-prong and my appliances had three-prong plugs. 🥺

I was really impressed by the service. The room was clean and nice, and I'd definitely stay here again if I come back.
