From the room, you get a good view of the lake.

A lovely little hideaway, with just six rooms, so it’s great if you want to get away from the crowds. Food was a bit inconvenient for us, but we managed by driving out.

Take a book and settle on the swing by the lake. You can also catch the morning boat to Thale Noi and take in the natural scenery. My 73 year old mother said, “I’ve only watched National Geographic, now I’m living it!” The local Thai restaurant nearby serves lunch and dinner, with delicacies you won’t find elsewhere. It’s a small resort with five rooms, and the owners add a personal touch. We enjoyed having drinks with the owner in the late evening. You can’t go wrong here.

The view was great, though it rained during my stay. The strong wind and waves made quite a bit of noise.
