The girl running the place was super friendly and even took us to buy beef. I wanted to make my own BBQ, and they had everything for it. The room was small but had its own bathroom, and it was only 700 THB in low season. Cheap and good!

The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived and always ready to help. Baan Bua Talay is a short walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and close to restaurants and bars, so getting food was easy. Even with the nearby attractions, the guesthouse itself was peaceful and quiet, a good place to unwind after exploring. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed. I had a fantastic stay at Baan Bua Talay on Koh Samet and would happily return, whether for a relaxing beach break or an island adventure.

The Traveloka listing was misleading: its pictures and description didn't match what was stated there. The selection was bad, and the location was bad too.
