The staff were genuinely helpful, friendly, and polite, and the hotel and rooms were clean and fresh. Coffee and biscuits are available for you to help yourself to, though they aren’t kept in the room. The location works well too, with the beach and countryside both fairly close and plenty to do if you look around. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

The bathroom doors are flimsy, and the locks aren’t much use. That was my only real complaint. The rooms are clean and good for the price, and the place looks neither fancy nor cheap. Staff were friendly, motorbike rentals were available, and it’s about a mile from the beach. There’s a fuel station nearby, and 7/11 isn’t far either. Worth the money, and I’d recommend it.

The people here are very, very kind and friendly. Rooms are super clean and feel fresh, with the basics you need even for a longer stay. It’s just a few minutes by motorbike to the beach and those amazing restaurants with such good food. Klaeng Old City is 15 to 20 minutes away.

If you have your own transport, this is great value. It’s a 30 second drive to the beach, though you can’t walk there, which helps explain the roughly 500 baht price. Beachfront places can cost double and be worse. The rooms are very comfortable, with good air conditioning, nice beds and thick comforters. Staff are friendly, and there’s free tea and coffee. I’d stay here for the quality and price.
