Escape Condominiums Beachfront Suites - Mae Phim

I rented #233 Mae Phim. It was a lovely room, very clean and well equipped. I’d rent it again for sure.

I’ve been visiting Thailand for 18 years, and my two weeks at James were among my best stays so far. James was friendly and helpful, and the apartment was clean and in a good location. I’d highly recommend it.

This is a privately owned condo complex with two buildings, each containing 35 units. It’s unique in the area, with direct access to a secluded beach, its own gym, adult and children’s pools, a jacuzzi, plus poolside showers and toilets. Some people live here permanently, while other apartments are rented out by their owners. It can be mistaken for a resort, but it isn’t one. The service you get depends on the owner of the property you rent. There’s a great restaurant underneath escape 2, Aroys bakery. The view from escape one is completely different from escape 2, depending on your floor and where the apartment is located. Remember, your host determines the service.

James is THE MAN!! He guided us through every step and treated us so well we felt like family. Our studio was laid out perfectly, affordable, quiet, spotless, and comfortable, with a balcony that had a limited beach view. Roy, James’ buddy, owns the excellent restaurant and bakery on the ground floor. We sat at the open air dining area in front of the pool, enjoying the sea breeze and that unrivaled view of the picturesque beach. The food was fantastic. Each day we enjoyed fresh baked bread and desserts, along with drinks made from freshly ground roasted coffee beans. Try the hot dog and the breakfast sandwich on a bun for a break from the great Thai food they also do so well. We’re planning to return to Thailand in a year, and Escape Condominiums will be a destination again. Thank you, James and Roy. You both deserve 6 stars for being such awesome people!!!
