Sawatdee Garden Resort

For just 450 baht, this was a nice stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a private area, outdoor seating and a fan. Service was excellent from the owner and staff. I'd definitely come back, though I'd suggest bringing your own food and drinks.

There’s a nice shady atmosphere and plenty of space to work, and the room was okay. There may be quite a few mosquitoes, though. It costs 450 baht and is a little far from the main area.

We ended up using all 15 rooms after the children in our group agreed to split the cost, but I had initially asked to return three rooms since we only needed 12. They refused and insisted on the full charge, lowering it only to 350 baht. With fewer people expected at events during COVID-19, hosts often lose money. As for the resort service, especially in busy seaside areas, there aren't many extras. Some places in Isaan offer morning coffee and snacks.

The room itself was quiet, but when the cleaner came in, he liked to smoke. We came back that afternoon to a really strong cigarette smell in the room.
