The location made our Christmas and New Year week in beautiful Laem Mae Phim. The beach and waves are just a short walk away, and there are excellent seafood restaurants nearby. They mostly serve Thai customers, so the food is fresh and high quality without 'farang' prices. The street can get busy during the day, especially on public holidays. Our seaview apartment at Sunee House Resort was spacious, comfortable and clean, with a big fridge, kitchen, large bed and cosy sofa. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. The couple who run the place are charming, friendly and welcoming. We look forward to another relaxing stay, and can highly recommend it.

I spent one night in a traditional one-room teak wood bungalow for 900 tbt while visiting lovely laem mae phim beach. It was clean and nice, though the Wi-Fi was very poor, so I'm giving it four stars. Still, it was a good experience.

Our beach-front room cost 1200 baht on a Friday night. It was clean and spacious, with a balcony facing the beach across the road and reclining deck chairs. The place is opposite the beach and market stalls, close to day and night activities, and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside were free Wi-Fi, a comfy Queen size bed, sofa and TV, dining table and chairs, stove and cooking gear, microwave, toaster, fridge, plates, cups and cutlery. The large bathroom had a shower with hot water. A connecting door could be opened if we booked the room behind ours. There's also an inground pool for children under cover downstairs. Other rooms off the street cost 600-800 baht.

We paid 1500 baht for a room with five beds, though one was made from pallets. The bedroom had air conditioning, and the beach is close by. You get what you pay for, so it's okay if you don't mind roughing it a bit. We had a great time at the beach.
