Siam Royal View Apartments

These are privately owned condos, mostly rented for short stays. The original AC units were much too small, and only a few have been replaced even though they’re nearly new. The replacements should be adequate except in March and April. Then the AC may need to run 24/7 with the curtains drawn just to keep the room at 26 or 27 C at night. Good luck during the day. I got ill after mosquito fumigation inside my unit, so we checked out early. The owner lied to me about the AC problem. Luckily, other people explained what was going on before I’d paid for the whole extended stay. I won’t be back.

The photos are old, so don’t be fooled by them. The room smelled damp, the air conditioning was useless and smelled too, and there were cockroaches. We checked out after one night, but the owner still charged us for two. Horrible place, I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone.

The sea view is great, and the apartments are large. It’s a relaxing spot with a private beach. I love it here and will no doubt come back many times.

The sea view was blocked by palm trees, and the rooms and towels were dirty. The swim-up pool bar was closed for renovation.
