We could get a van arranged here for the trip back to Bangkok, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. The location also works well for getting to laundry, scooter rental, the beach, and restaurants. Our room was upgraded while an AC mechanic came to fix the cooling. With air conditioning, a swimming pool, privacy, and no bugs, this was the best accommodation we've had in Thailand.

Those concrete rooms set in the jungle look amazing, and ours had an outstanding view into the greenery. The accommodation was modern and clean, and there are two beaches within walking distance. The owners made us feel very welcome, and we quickly grew close to them. A top-notch start to our Southeast Asia trip.

The couple who run this place are lovely and helpful with whatever you need. The living space is basic, but comfortable and roomy, with a nice bathroom. I'd strongly recommend staying here. Just keep in mind that if you want to go out for drinks in the evening, you'd be better off farther north on the island.

Kiwi was great at sorting things out for us. He helped plan activities, rent a bike, arrange a snorkel trip, and organize transport back to Bangkok. He spoke English really well and tried to find us the best discounts. The rooms and pool were very clean, with AC, a fan, and hot showers with strong pressure. There are maps available, and the TV has YouTube. Beach box is a minute's walk from the beach view Indie restaurant next door, and another nearby restaurant offers kayaking. It's a good place to sleep after a full day exploring the island. We'd stay again and recommend it.
