Carpe Diem Guest House

The rooms were simple, clean and roomy, and good value. We also enjoyed the pool and the owners' lovely dog. Amseara welcomed us so warmly and did everything she could to make the stay a great one. It's handy for Lonely Beach nightlife, but still a nice place to relax. When her husband Peter got back from his homeland, Australia, we shared a lovely home-cooked meal. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and there's a super pool and a really sweet, friendly dog. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the mosquito net on the door was handy. It had both air conditioning and a fan, plus there's a shared fridge out in the garden. Good value for money. There's a nearby bar where the music sometimes goes on until dawn, so bring earplugs or join the party. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Koh Chang. 🙂🐕

The pool was clean and nice, though I felt a little uncomfortable using it when the friendly French hotel owner was sitting there with some other men. The rooms were pleasant and tidy, but seemed a bit overpriced given how far the place is from the beach, bars and other activities. The sign asking guests to put rubbish in the bin instead of the toilet even mentions "condoms," which felt a bit icky.

A lovely little guesthouse, with clean, comfortable rooms and a great feel from the pool and hammocks. Peter owns the place and was really helpful while we were there. He's a Newcastle Knights enthusiast too!
