The resort has a nice pool and towel service, and the rooms right on the beach are lovely. Breakfast is included, and the place has a resort feel. At the pool, people claim chairs, and no, it's not only Germans. Chai Chet Beach is fine and seems comparable to the other beaches on Ko Chang, though the best swimming beach by far is the touristy White Sand Beach. People are friendly, as they are in Thailand generally. There's plenty of food choice along the beach or on the main street, and all in all it was fine. A scooter helps you get around the island.

A lovely resort in a quiet little bay, with the Main Street just a five-minute walk away. The service was fantastic, and breakfast had a great mix of Western and Thai food. The infinity pool has wonderful views. Rooms are good, though a little dated and ready for a refurbishment. For the price, it's a real diamond on Koh Chang. 😄

A peaceful place to get away and relax, with a lovely beach, clean comfortable rooms and genuinely sweet staff. Breakfast was 15 out of 10, with the choices changing a bit each day so you can try a little of everything. The bathroom really needs a major renovation, though!

My wife and I have been coming to Chai Chet Resort regularly for 20 years, and we're happy guests. We love the quiet, relaxed feel and the bungalows set among a wonderful tropical garden. The restaurant is upstairs, with a fantastic, unique view over the whole bay of Klong Prao as far as the beach at Kai Bae. There's a large parking lot and a safe place for your car or motorcycle. On our first visit to Chai Chet, my wife and I found just the mix we wanted: relaxing surroundings, really delicious Thai food, well-kept grounds and normal prices. The wait staff were attentive and professional. A big thank you!
