Twelve OClock Resort

The best part for me was how kind P Jane & P Ta were. They welcomed us so warmly, were friendly, and had a real service mindset. I loved it. The resort has a great loft style, with a 180 degree lanscape and pure natural surroundings, perfect for chilling out.

Getting there is a little unsettling: parts of the road are dirt and other stretches have broken concrete, though a motorhome can make it through. Once there, it’s quiet and offers plenty of privacy. Each spacious house is in its own building and has rooftop access. Rooms have a TV, fridge, air conditioning, hot water, hair dryer, and kettle. You can eat in the common area, and the barbecue set costs extra but is generous enough for two.

There are plenty of trees and rocks around, and the tents have adequate bathrooms and toilets. I like exposed concrete, and the spacious rooms have great-looking furnishings and lots of privacy. I’m here for two more nights before heading back to Rayong, and I’ll come back in the evening and morning to share the atmosphere.

I’d made a reservation with payment due later, but the property called and asked me to cancel because someone else had already paid. My credit card was meant to guarantee the booking, but that didn’t work.
