The private snorkelling boat trip was a highlight. Khun Joke looked after everyone so well, especially the kids, and the cold cuts and fruit onboard were delicious. I’d never had guava that soft and sweet in Thailand. The captain chose safe snorkelling spots, and the water was beautifully clear. Joke even recognised us at the restaurant the next day, and we had a cheerful little chat. It made for a lovely family holiday. We stayed three nights during peak season while the hotel was still in its soft opening, so there were a few minor mix-ups. Our curtains wouldn’t close all the way. We were having too much fun to tell reception, so I used a hairpin to hold them together each night. The staff’s warmth more than made up for those small issues. Everyone was welcoming and helpful at check-in and checkout, and the restaurant and kids club staff were lovely.

I came down for breakfast and ended up spending the whole day there. The beachside setting was so relaxing, with chilled music and gentle waves, plus lovely food and drinks from morning to sunset. The interior is stylish, modern, and clean. JP was especially kind and lovely, and made sure I was looked after the whole time. The staff were professional and spoke good English. I’ll definitely come back.

We had a great family stay and would come back, though the pool and beach food and drink service took a long time and needs to be quicker. The hotel is spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Our room had both a bathtub and a separate shower. Breakfast had lots of choices for European and Asian tastes, and the service was good, especially from Bharta and a lady from Nepal whose name I can’t remember. The children’s animation team took great care of the kids, particularly Mrs. Amp, whom the girls loved. From check-in onward, the welcome was friendly. Jell and Bee at reception were professional and kind, and the whole team had a great attitude.

The evening atmosphere was lovely and romantic, and the beach was beautiful. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all amazing. Mr. JP was especially gentle and helpful, and made us feel at home. I hope to see him again on a future vacation at an IGH Hotel. One thing Dinso Resort could improve is giving trainees more officers to learn from, so they can provide better service and follow more structured work processes.
