A quiet, relaxing setting, a little private beach right in front, and a terrace with beautiful views made this a dream stay for the two of us. We were at Maya Guest House @ Coffee from 17 to 23 November 2025 and would happily return. The beds were comfortable, the host friendly, scooter hire easy and fairly priced, and free kayaks were available. The bathroom drain was very slow. At first it was hard to get in touch with the host, but later we learned they’d been ill and got an explanation, which made the situation understandable. I use the stars this way: 1/5 means insufficient and unsatisfactory, 2/5 below average and deficient, 3/5 average and good, 4/5 above average and very good, and 5/5 absolutely recommended.

The beach is lovely and just meters away, and that’s what you’re paying for here. I stayed five days, but my room was never cleaned and I got no water after the first two bottles. The shared bathrooms weren’t cleaned either, with sand across the floor and debris clogging one basin. The downstairs room was nice but tiny, and its fridge was noisy. The sound of the waves lost its charm quickly. It’s a beautiful little spot, but once you’re there it feels like nobody cares. I was glad to find a room in high season, though it was pricey and frustrating.

We recommend this place. The rooms are clean, prices very affordable, and it’s right on the beach. You can wake to a lovely sunrise and watch a beautiful sunset in the evening.

It’s right by the sea, so you can have a morning swim. The two ground-floor rooms don’t have their own bathrooms. The other rooms are okay.

Everything here feels just like home 🤗 Alex, the owner, is very nice, and the people around are friendly. The restaurant next door is cheap too. Maha Guest house gave me a new experience, and I’d give it five stars. I’d come back again.
