Nature Beach Resort

The rooms are the main drawback: they’re tiny, basic, and not soundproof. Everything else made for a really fun stay, though, and I’d come back to Nature Beach Resort on my next trip to Koh Chang. I especially liked the pool at night. It’s kept in great condition. Nature Rocks Bar and restaurant was superb, with chefs who know how to make great food. The dishes were much better in taste and quality than at places that charge more for less. At night the restaurant had a great vibe, with DJ sets, singers, and a fire show. The staff there were kind and attentive.

We’re backpacking around SEA, and this was our favorite stay. We booked a Budget Bungalow that wasn’t listed on the website, so if your dates show no availability online, I’d contact the resort directly. It was just right for us. The place was very clean, with a nice pool and beach. Our bed was soft, comfortable, and clean, and the bathroom was spacious and clean too. We also had a minifridge for cold water. They cleaned the room every day, changed the sheets, and cleaned the baths. Staff were really nice and tried to answer all our questions. The food was delicious, if a little expensive, so it worked well for a chic night out. For a cheaper meal, there are lots of restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a laid-back work area with tables, sofas, and a billiard table. We stayed seven nights and loved every one. If you’re considering it, go, you won’t regret it.

The staff made the stay feel especially welcoming. They were friendly and relaxed, without any fuss. Nature Beach Resort is simple rather than fancy, but being able to step right onto the beach and take it slow was just what I wanted. The seaside restaurant and bar served fresh, flavorful food, and it was a lovely place for dinner and a drink. I’d happily return.

We left early and took the loss because the room made us uncomfortable. It felt old and neglected, with ants and other insects, stained sheets, and a generally dirty feel. The small room had no wardrobe, and the outdated bathroom had dim blue lighting that could give you a headache. Water pressure was very weak. The restaurant was a different story. The food was really good and reasonably priced, the staff were very kind, and the view of the quiet beach at sunset was beautiful. We’d gladly come back to eat and enjoy the peaceful setting, but not to stay overnight.
