After a long trip, our group arrived visibly exhausted, but the reception manager offered no apology, even tap water, or help. Instead, she hurried us out of the lobby. She said the five rooms I had paid for weren’t available, though her staff showed us four bungalows we could rent for an extra 40,000 baht. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect at a hotel.

When we reached reception after a long journey, the staff member told us the hotel was overbooked and had no rooms for us, despite our having booked and paid in advance. Then she said other rooms were available for an extra 40,000 baht and canceled our original reservation. We refused the absurd surcharge, and she told us to leave the lobby. We didn’t even get an “excuse me.” A scam, and a complete lack of respect for customers.

The response to our Booking.com reservation was cold, rude, and downright hostile. The staff ignored it and did nothing to help sort out the problem. Instead, their proposed fix was an overpriced “upgrade” costing several times the original booking. It felt like they were only interested in squeezing more money out of guests. The staff were a disgrace, and this place doesn’t deserve your time or money. Stay far away.
