The owner was kind, but I wouldn’t recommend the property, especially for the price. It feels dark and unwelcoming, with rust beneath the shower and rusty cookware in the kitchen. The place is extremely basic and underinvested. Even in sunny Thailand, where travelers don’t need much, it could use at least a little investment.

The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful, and the bungalow was much closer to Klong Prao beach than I expected. The owner showed us the way. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable, just off the main road. If you want a relaxed, homelike place instead of a big resort, Papaya Cottage is a great choice. I had a great stay.

I spent a month here, and it was just right for staying on the island. The host was warm and helpful, and the bungalow was spotless. I had everything I needed, including WiFi, good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a well-equipped kitchen. Shops, restaurants, hikes, waterfalls, and the beach are all within walking distance. A perfect place to stay on Koh Chang, highly recommended.

I’ve stayed here three times already and would happily come back again. It has a lovely, family-like atmosphere, and Pamela is a wonderful host who’s around when you have a problem or need an extra tip for your next adventure. The area is super nice, and the staff are lovely. A real gem!

The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the bedding was the best I had in Thailand. The bungalows are comfortable, the cleaning is excellent, and the air conditioning works well without being noisy. It’s a little green paradise, just a five-minute walk from the beautiful beach. Definitely recommend it.
